GT5 uitgeroepen tot beste consolegame en beste van gamescom tijdens de gamescom awards
Tussen 18 en 22 augustus vond in Keulen gamescom plaats, het grootste game-evenement van Europa. Op 20 augustus werden de gamescom awards uitgereikt, en Gran Turismo® 5 werd uitgeroepen tot beste consolegame en beste game van de show.
Er zijn zes categorieën: pc-spellen, consolegames, onlinegames, mobiele games, hardwareaccessoires en beste game van gamescom. Dit zijn de titels die dit jaar zijn genomineerd. (Lijst afkomstig van de officiële site van gamescom.)
